These signature Megerian Mamluk Rugs are an exquisite reproduction of the antique Mamluks which date back to the 15th century and woven in Egypt. Their designs are quite complex, consisting of large medallions made up of intersecting compartments of various forms. The borders consist of oblong medallions or cartouches.
