This signature Megerian Mamluk Rug is an exquisite reproduction of the antique Mamluks which date back to the 15th century and which were woven in Egypt. Their designs are quite complex, consisting of large medallions made up of intersecting compartments of various forms. The borders consist of oblong medallions or cartouches. This distinctive rug features a captivating mix of colors and accents, with an intricate center medallion. Each unique Megerian masterpiece is hand-woven in Egypt with the highest quality wool and contains a unique array of organic and natural colors similar to the antique Mamluks.
